I, the undersigned, acknowledge that corruption has had a devastating impact on the social and economic development of Nigeria. |

I recognise the need to restore professional ethics and integrity to every facet of my profession/ industry, especially in all processes related to my profession and industry in Nigeria. |

I share in the growing consensus that action is needed to strengthen professional ethics, integrity, transparency, and accountability in business and public life. |
| |
|
I pledge to support and implement all legislation and/or national policies geared towards the above objectives such as the National Ethics and Integrity Policy, and to participate, along with a coalition of Nigerians across my profession, civil society, private sector and other actors that are committed to achieving the same cause. |

|
I support efforts by the Integrity Organisation to strengthen individuals, institutions and processes that create and promote professional ethics, integrity, anti-corrupt practices, transparency, and efficiency across all sectors of the Nigerian economy. |

|
I seek to be a member of the movement for the honourable practice of __________________________ , a body that reflects and promotes the principles of professional ethics, integrity, transparency, accountability and Anti-Corruption. |

In this context, I, the undersigned, through my association with the movement: |

• | Will support other stakeholders to establish standards that promote the core principles of ethics, integrity, anti-corrupt practices, transparency, and Anti-Corruption.

• | Will support the movement to monitor uptake and adoption of standards in my profession/ industry.

| |

• | Will support the development of tools, research and processes to support advocacy that promotes behaviour change among actors in my profession/industry. |

• | Will support intervention in matters that could affect professional excellence, reputation or credibility of institutions and processes in my profession/industry.

• | Commit to honesty, ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of my professional dealings with members of the public.

• | Will act honourably and in good faith and not contrary to the public interest.

• | Will not use my knowledge, and/or position and/or resources and/or relationships to facilitate an improper purpose (such as money laundering, corruption, bribery, fraud, influence peddling and the like) or engage in otherwise inappropriate behaviour. |

• | Will avoid acts or omissions that place me at a conflict with the public interest or the interests of this movement whose membership I this day seek.
